Fellow skincare and beauty enthusiast, Evelyn (@skinattorney), created her Instagram page to document her acne journey and share her day to day life as she navigates the beauty world. We caught up with Evelyn Ogundare who shares her quick nuggets of skin information gold with us.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am Evelyn, a skincare enthusiast and junky ! I enjoy taking care of my skin as it makes me happy and puts me in a really good mood. My current skin concerns are acne, hyperpigmentation, dehydration and keratosis Pilaris aka strawberry or chicken skin. I have oily and acne prone skin on my face. My body is normal to dry and also acne prone on my chest, arms and sometimes my butt. I have created this channel to share my acne journey and products that help me keep acne at bay. Acne is totally normal ! Let’s embrace it !
What is one thing you're grateful for today?
I’m grateful for the gift of life. The opportunity to witness yet another beautiful day!
What is your favourite skincare ritual?
My favourite skincare ritual is my hydration routine- because my skin always look so plump, bouncy, and firm ! It radiates!

What's one skincare ingredient you can't live without?
I can’t live without salicylic acid because I’m oily and acne prone.
What's one piece of skincare advice you would give to someone just starting a routine?
Patience and consistency are key in achieving your skin goals.
We love your content! How do you brainstorm for your content creation?
Personally, I have to be in a good space mentally to brainstorm content ideas. So good mental health comes first. Everything is content so whatever I do I film and make it into content. Going for a facial?
I film my pre and post facial routine while sharing tips, I also film my facial experience/procedure, etc.
Tell us about some of your favourite memories with the skincare community.
My favourite memory with the skincare community is when everyone was happy and delighted to celebrate my wins with me. I remember being part of the selfless team as an ambassador for the brand, everyone in the community celebrated, supported, and came through for me. It feels good knowing some people always have your back. Thanks to the community as well, I’ve met amazing and supportive creators like me and the opportunities that have come my way are surreal! An amazing community indeed.
