Moisturiser
**If you find your skin is easily irritated by retinoids, exfoliants, sensitive/reactive, then you can apply a moisturiser and wait for your skin to dry before layering Ursolic & Retinal Overnight Reform treatment. Otherwise, moisturise suited to your skin state.
**If you have never used a retinoid product before, begin by limiting use to once a week, gradually increasing frequency to twice a week then every other night, making sure to pay attention to your skin tolerance.
**Always remember to apply a retinoid to dry skin thus making sure all previous layers are fully absorbed before layering your retinoid to prevent irritation.

How should I start using the You Set The Tone Duo II?

When incorporating the Ursolic Acid & Retinal Overnight Reform into your routine use only once a week, applying a very thin layer and gradually increasing frequency to 1-2 times a week OR up to 3-4 times a week depending on your skin tolerance. First you want to apply the Pro Resilience Serum and allow this to absorb into the skin before layering the Ursolic Acid and Retinal Overnight Reform. Just a note Vitamin A (Retinal) absorption is enhanced when the skin is wet, applying the Ursolic Acid and Retinal Overnight Reform to dry skin reduces the skin of irritation issues.
Yes, do allow the solution to fully absorb onto dry skin to avoid any irritation issues.
While both products are targeted to address all signs of aging, it also addresses sun damage, dehydration, congestion and targets discolorations to brighten the overall complexion, making it a great companion for your healthy radiant skin routine.
Usually, it will reveal a hydrated, plumper and radiant glowy skin within 7-10 days. However to address more specific stubborn concerns like fine lines, wrinkles, stubborn discolourations - retinoids usually show the best results around 3-4 personal skin cycles (noting that your skin cycle can be anything between 4-6 weeks for example) and the number of days in a skin cycle can vary per person.
Due to the nature of Vitamin A products in Ursolic Acid & Retinal Overnight Reform, we always recommend that you conduct a patch test and wait 24-48 hours at the very minimum before using any product. Note that side effects from retinoid use can include irritation, sensitisation, dryness, flakiness, tenderness and soreness. Although our formulation includes hydrators and barrier support to reduce the risk of any side effects some may still experience them.
